WonderCon 2018

WonderCon has become one of my all time favorite events, and I was very excited to shoot all day for Friday and Saturday. The Anaheim convention center is a prime location for all types of cosplays, and I feel like I was able to get a little more adventurous with my lighting here (the weather was windy at times which made it a little challenging!) I was looking forward to shooting on my new Nikon d750 here for the first time.

This was also the first time I shot at a convention with a 3 light set up, however I was using just one soft-box and a strobe equipped with a gel most of the time. I was happy with the results from Friday, and decided to replicate more or less the same set ups on Saturday. The crowds also proved challenging, but I was able to capture images in somewhat secluded areas. There were a few sets that I just happened to get lucky with a clear background as well. Overall, I'm very happy with the results from the weekend, and as usual, I was eager to get to editing. Enjoy!
